02Brakes, from the pedal to the wheel.
Pads, rotors, calipers, lines and fluid.
Ref. 02Brakes
A brake system is a short chain. The pedal pushes fluid through the lines, the fluid pushes the calipers, and the calipers squeeze the pads against the rotors. A problem anywhere along it changes how the car stops. We work on every link: pads, rotors, calipers, lines and fluid.
Brake wear is easy to show. A worn pad next to a new one needs no explanation. We photograph what we find and put it in the estimate, and we show you the worn part.

The friction material that grips the rotor. They wear down with use.
The discs the pads clamp onto. They can wear thin, score or warp.
The clamps that squeeze the pads. They can stick or leak.
The tubes and hoses that carry fluid to each wheel.
It carries the force from the pedal. It ages and takes on moisture.
Common signs. Any one of them is reason enough to have it looked at.
After you drop the car off we inspect the brakes and record what we find. The written estimate shows the condition of the parts, with photos, and marks what is urgent. We replace nothing until you approve it.
Brakes are where the difference between urgent and not yet matters most. A leak or a pad at its limit goes in the do now column. Parts with life left in them go in the other, with a note to look again.
The estimate comes first, in writing, with photos. Nothing is done without your approval.
