A warning light tells you something is wrong. It does not tell you what. A stored fault code points to a system, and the worn or failed part behind it still has to be found. Diagnostics is that work: tracing a check engine light, an electrical fault or a drivability problem back to its actual cause.
We explain the finding to you before any repair is proposed. You get it in plain words, in a written estimate with photos of the problem where there is something to photograph.
The light is the start of the question. We find out what set it.
Things that stop working, work sometimes, or drain the battery.
Rough running, hesitation, stalling, hard starting. The car is not driving the way it used to.
Common signs. Any one of them is reason enough to have it looked at.
You book a drop-off and tell us what the car is doing. We inspect it and trace the fault. Then you get the finding in writing, explained, before we propose a repair. If a repair is needed, it goes on the estimate and waits for your approval.
Some faults need attention before you drive much further. Others are worth knowing about and watching. The estimate says which is which, so you are not left guessing from a dashboard light.
The estimate comes first, in writing, with photos. Nothing is done without your approval.
